Details: Died of wounds 31st May 1916. Age 34. Son of George Frederick and Frances Claridge of 6 Grove Rd. Leighton Buzzard Beds. Joined the Regt. in Oct. 1914 sent to Malta in Dec. 1914 from there to Egypt and to the Dardenelles where he served in the trenches for 3 months. He was on the staff of the Anglo-South American Bank at Chile at outbreak of war. I. C. 14.
