Details: 24th May 1915. Age 34. Son of Major Henry Powis (Somerset Light Infantry) and Sarah Anne Powis on whose grave he is remembered. No known grave - commemorated on Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 5. His brother Harry died of wounds in July 1917 whilst serving with the Lincolnshire Regiment.
