Details: 15/09/44 Age 29 IX, B, 12. Son of Venard James Noddin and Winnifred Noddin; husband of Mabel Blanche Noddin, of McAdam, York Co., New Brunswick, Canada. Additional Information supplied by Ashley Grosvenor: Pte. Roy V. Noddin, St. George, Born March 13th 1917 killed in action Sept. 15th 1944 in Italy during WWII SOURCE: The St. Croix Courier (St. Stephen, NB) (October 26, 1944). TRANSCRIBER'S NOTES: Pte. R.V. Noddin (Service : G/1378), member of Carleton and York Regiment, R.C.I.C., is buried at Coriano Ridge War Cemetery (Plot 9, Row B, Grave 12) which is located 3.5 kilometres west of Riccione, Italy. He was the son of Venard Jarvis Noddin (1886-1974) & Winnifred C Kavaughn (1890-1922) ( Winnifred died after giving birth to Roy's brother and sister twins Norval and Norva Noddin); husband of Mabel "Blanche" Noddin, of McAdam, NB.
