Details: Died of pneumonia 31st January 1917. Age 40. Only son of Amy M. A. Loye and the late James Loye (solicitor) of Plymouth. Educated at Cheltenham College and qualified as solicitor in June 1899. Enlisted in Bankers' Bn. Royal Fusiliers March 1916. V. C. 35.
