Carol Rutter
Living on The Rock of Gibraltar though from Norfolk. In WW2 my father was Capt Norfolk Regt though luckily for him was seconded to Indian Army - Tank Coy, otherwise he could have ended up Japanese POW, fought in Italy Egypt area, my mother was Capt ATS - Shoeburyness, Cairo & Alexandria. Both sides of my family lost so many in both world wars - especially WW1 - including 3 gt uncles. My grandfather was gassed, he survived but died before I was born. As a result of discovering all this I have become passionate in researching those who fell and helping to preserve their memory, so that they will never be forgotten.
