Neil and Lauren Taylor
Married for 27 years to my wonderful wife Jo-Anne, I am a father of five girls, and live in Melbourne, Victoria. My hobbies through the years have concentrated on my family history with a particular interest in the military history within my family. In the Second World War my father was a Rat of Tobruk in the 2/24th Battalion, later becoming a P.O.W. in Italy and Germany. Recently we found information concerning my Great Uncle from the First World War. He was one of the Fromelles soldiers found in 2009 and is now resting at Fromelles - Pheasant Wood Cemetery in France. After the discovery of that information, my family obtained a photo of his war grave through the TWGPP, and since then my daughter Lauren and myself have volunteered to assist in the project . Lauren has chosen nursing as a career, finished her degree in 2009, and now works in one of Melbourne's largest private hospitals. She loves history, puzzles, and crosswords and is always looking for something to solve. We are both looking forward to contributing to this great project.
