David & Pat Ayling

Carshalton, Surrey. I am proud to say that my Father 49333 Private James Montagu Ayling, 6th Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment fought in France in 1918. He was wounded and captured by the Germans. Luckily for our family we have a photo of him in a German hospital in 1918 and his Army Records survived the Blitz in 1940.
