Dalt Nyberg
Dalton and Linda Nyberg live in Aurora, Ontario. Over the past decade on our European vacations, we have included visits to the various Commonwealth War cemeteries and monuments, from Vimy Ridge to Menin Gate, Holten Netherlands and the most recently Berlin and Prague. Poppy crosses are placed on many Canadian soldiers’ graves and it is our small way of remembering the sacrifice they have made on our behalf. Dalton is also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Aurora branch. The memorial/poppy crosses we take to Europe are made by hand by a R.A.F WW2 veteran, Bill Webster (R.A.F.V.R ) from London Ontario. His workmanship has carpeted all of Europe over the years of his continued efforts and by the many organizations that deliver these to the C.W.C sites. It’s knowing that Bill has made these crosses for like comrades and our part is simply to deliver the Canadian message – We Remember you -
