Ion Drew
Ion Drew works at the Department of Cultural Studies and Languages, the University of Stavanger. The Second World War has been one of his life-long interests. At The University of Stavanger he is involved in a research programme called 'Memory Studies', which includes several World War Two projects. One of these is co-authoring a book about the British and Commonwealth World War Two casualties buried in Eiganes cemetery in Stavanger. Another is a collaborative project between the University of Stavanger and Kongsgård Upper Secondary School about the 34 ex-pupils from the school who died during WW2.
