I'm 26 years old and a graduate of Ottawa University. I obtained my honours degree in history in 2008 after a very long haul of changing universities and taking courses part time. I have always been interested in the two world wars. Recently I travelled to France and visited some Normandy, Vimy Ridge, Verdun and many places in the Somme region. The trip just ignited my passion for trying to understand what these men went through. I became involved with TWGPP during research I was doing regarding a Canadian Air Force Pilot Officer who was killed in action in 1943. He was going to marry my grandmother, and without his sacrifice I might not be here today. Cemeteries are one of the things that interest me the most. I'm very excited about this project!!!
