Llandrindod Wells. Semi-retired, Martin runs his own business consultancy and is a part-time webmaster. A member of the Western Front Association and the 1914-1918 Forum, Martin sees himself as a perpetual war studies student with the motto 'learning, ever learning'.

Sadly Martin died in April 2022 after many years helping the project from its inaugeration in 2005. He will be missed
