Details: 29th July 1917. Age 33. Son of Major Henry and Sarah Anne Powis on whose grave he is remembered. His brother, Pte. William Henry Powis fell missing 24th May 1915 aged 34 whilst serving at Ypres with the 9th Lancers. Buried in Essex Farm Cemetery, grave ref: II. H. 3.
